UNH Indoor – New Footing Installed
During the fall of 2017 The University of New Hampshire hired us to update their footing for the indoor arena. The existing footing was a mixture of sand and stone dust (very dusty) and it didn’t provide a good traction.
The barn employees removed the existing footing so all we had to do was laser-grade base, compact base, and install new footing.
Their new footing is a mixture of sand and fiber. This footing had to be blended on site. First step was to install sand, then we installed the fiber on top of the sand and finally we blended the two of them together, creating a product that provides a better riding surface.
